After February 22, life was divided into before and after. Some familiar things took on a different meaning.
This series has become a kind of therapy for the artist. Using post-media rethinking, real photos, looking for similarities in the new reality, the artist learns to live in a new world, gets acquainted with its signs and visual codes.
Sculptures of Lviv protected from bombing, plastic bags with the bodies of the dead, Pope Francis shrouded in the wind, photos of hidden heroes, volunteers and soldiers, whose faces are overpainted in a unique way in the photo, faces are replaced by smileys so that they are not recognized, you can see the essence that needs to be temporarily hidden.

“Fragility” project

In our time, we meet with the question of the obliteration of the cultural heritage which poses a question about the fragility of a culture. Sometimes all efforts of mankind to preserve it looks useless before the mass disappearance of the works of art in some regions.
Perhaps the paradox lies in the indivisible coexistence of beauty and destruction, which are always inevitably coming alongside. Nevertheless, the culture like genetic code continues to live as a message and determines our lifes.
As a result of collapse, the work of the past turns into a fragment of the present and acquires its new meaning.

"River of light"

Light installation proposal for historical public space in Kyiv, Pochaina river.
"Pochaina" is a project of historical and ecological revitalization of a Pochaina river, that flows into the Dnieper river.
Mirror facade are getting shine at evening. The drawing of Dnieper and Pochaina river transformed into abstraction that reminds veins. Rendered in Unreal Engine 5. The main goal was to create an artwork that could reflect the importance of river ecosystem for the contemporary cities, visually expanding the narrowest place in the park, as well as being interactive and having practical value.

In my digital experiments I am interested in the applying abstract painting approaches for creating
virtual art to research how it can influence contemporary painting and on the contrary.
